LimitX Browser is a family-safety focused web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, designed to provide comprehensive parental controls and content filtering for families and educational institutions.

We are a student-led development team from Superior University Lahore, Pakistan, working under DownLabs to create innovative solutions for digital safety and parental control.

Our Vision

Our Story

LimitX Browser was born from a simple observation: many families struggle to find effective, privacy-respecting parental control solutions that actually work. Most existing solutions either compromise user privacy, are too expensive, or fail to provide comprehensive protection.

As students studying technology and data science at Superior University Lahore, we decided to tackle this problem head-on. We chose to build on Mozilla Firefox's solid foundation, adding powerful parental control features while maintaining the privacy-first approach that Firefox is known for.

What started as a university project has grown into a comprehensive browser solution used by hundreds of beta testers and preparing for public launch on the Google Play Store.
